If you follow the Kid’s Work blog, you probably noticed the post last month about Dr. Foster’s upcoming October talk at the annual Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) convention in Sacramento. Dr. Foster will discuss the impact of technology on brain development. We know that many of you are interested in the topic, but are unable to attend the convention. However, rather than feeling blue about missing the presentation, there is another way to can get the same great information while interacting with Dr. Foster. Join us for a workshop at the Kid’s Work clinic in Santa Maria where Dr. Foster will cover much of the material found in her upcoming OTAC presentation.

Brain Poster

If you want to find out more about how technology affects children’s neurological systems, join us on September 22 from 6:00 to 8:00. Bring your questions about technology, brain development, and the relationship between the two. Space is limited, so please call ahead to reserve your spot. The workshop tuition is only ten dollars and worth every penny. Please refer to the poster above for contact information and details about the event.

We look forward to seeing you there.
