Kid's Work Therapy Founder

Kid’s Work Therapy is led by world-renowned Occupational Therapist, Dr. Stephanie Foster, Ph.D., OTR/L, RYT200. In addition to being a published author, researcher, public speaker, and award-winning Occupational Therapy Practitioner, Dr. Foster built Kid’s Work Therapy over the past 20 years. She is on a purpose-driven path to identify the root of the cause to the most common developmental challenges, learning barriers, and functional deficits found in children today while providing an innovative and evidence-based intervention that delivers optimal outcomes and results. 

Nicole Foster

Nicole Foster Kid’s Work welcomes Ms. Nicole Foster to the team of professionals dedicated to providing cutting edge & compassionate Occupational Therapy. Nicole is an energetic, inquisitive rising senior at Cal Poly studying kinesiology. She is passionate about education. Nicole provides the Kid’s Work team with her attention to detail and caring, compassion for families. Ms. Foster is passionate about soldier’s health & quality of life. She has led workshops for military teenagers promoting resilience and stress management. She is currently an ROTC cadet, and hopes to pursue her MOT after graduation to become an Army OT. During her free time, she reads, dances tango, and hangs out with friends.

Brooke Stewart

Office Manager

Kid’s Work Therapy is pleased to welcome Brooke Stewart.  Ms Stewart is assisting as the new office manager.  She recently graduated from Orcutt Academy High School in 2019 and is now a passionate Biology student at Allan Hancock College. She has worked as a tutor for three years and has learned how to personalize each session to every student and plans to transfer those skills into her work at Kid’s Work. Brooke is a very active individual who enjoys the outdoors, exercising, and sports, particularly soccer, volleyball, and track, and with her experience teaches the children how to run. Brooke values teamwork and believes in the importance of supporting and motivating one another. At Kid’s Work  she will encourage the children to believe in their abilities and enjoy the exercises that will help them in the future. She is excited to work with Kid’s Work Therapy to improve the lives of children and make a difference in the lives of their family members.
