Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Kid’s Work Therapy offers a world-class comprehensive program designed around evidence-based research.

At Kid's Work Therapy, we offer Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Services, including evaluation and treatment planning as well as individual therapy services in a fun and inviting natural environment.
We provide a wide variety of Occupational Therapy (OT) services from individualized therapy sessions to Sensory Integration Play Groups. Children love playing in our clinic and usually don’t realize they’re getting “therapy”. It’s wonderful helping children grow and develop new skills. These services help get your child in gear, so that they can be happy and successful children.
Who benefits from Kid’s Work Occupational Therapy

We work with children who are having challenges with development and specialize in treating sensory disorders. These may include over- and under-sensitivities, tactile defensiveness (e.g., dislike of shirt tags), poor coordination, and those with vestibular (balance) issues.
Children on all points on the Autism Spectrum Disorder Spectrum benefit from working with us. We also commonly see children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) (with or without hyperactivity). Our approach may allow children to avoid using, or reduce their dependence on, medications to regulate their behavior.
Our goal is to work with your child in a safe and fun, natural environment. Services can take place in our treatment center where we have a wide assortment of specialized equipment.

Our Treatment Philosophy
Every child is a special gift and has unique ways of learning and teaching us. A child’s strengths and interests provide the key to helping them succeed in their daily occupation: that of living, learning and playing.
When treating Sensory Processing Disorder, our goals are threefold:
- Provide parents a better understanding of their child. Parents are a key part of our therapeutic approach, and we welcome their full involvement. This is how we help get your child in gear.
- Train the child’s nervous system to improve their sensory processing as well as teach coping strategies.
- Work with parents, educators, and other therapists on ways to change the environment to allow better functioning for the child.
